Flash Fan

I'm sure you have seen some awesome projects from the Magnolia-licious Design Team for the Summer Themed Blog Hop.  If you've come from the fabulous works of Jane at Jane's Lovely Cards, you've come in the right order.  If you've come on your own, you will want to get the complete list so as not to miss a thing at Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog.

Now I have to say, I was a little stumped on what to make for the summer themed project.  I decided since I and many of my hot flash friends are toting electric fans with us when we get together for stamping, why not a portable fan with Tilda on it!!!  I made sure I used lots of glue to hold everything in place so it stays together while waving back and forth!!!

From the best online store Magnolia-licious:
3069 FORGET ME NOT TILDA
17 DH SNOWFLAKE AND MISTLETOE DIE- Leaves
22 DH VINTAGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES
81 DH VINTAGE BOX LACING CHOCOLATE DIE
29 DH SWIRLY BUTTERFLY DIE

Be sure to check out the fantastic deals Diana has at the store Magnolia-licious!  She has the best prices and store credit besides!!!  And also terrific customer service!!!

The fan I just cut out by hand and then used the Scor-Pal to put my folds in it.  Have also used a couple of Spellbinders dies, 1/8" and 1/4" hole punches, seam tape for the bow and a wide craft stick for the handle.  Tilda is colored with Promarkers.

Please continue on the hop to Julie's at Stamps, Papers, Ribbons n Things.  Oh what wonderful things you will see there!

Thanks so much for stopping by and always appreciate the comments that you take time to leave!!!!  Enjoy every day!

Tilda with a Butterfly

The theme for the challenge at Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge blog is Butterflies this month!  Besides flowers, I love using butterflies!

From the Fantastic Magnolia-licious Store:
392 PRINCESS PEA TILDA
82 DH VINTAGE BOX LACING COFFEE
29 DH SWIRLY BUTTERFLY
71 DH POINSETTIA
47 DH SPRUCE TWIG
MINI PAPER PACK
MAGNOLIA FLOWERS
MAGNOLIA PEARLS
95 MB SMALL FELICITY FRAME  (Very similar is the 95 MB VAUDEVILLE FRAME)

I think this little Tilda is so adorable how she is sitting!  A fun one to use on so many things!  The butterfly is one of my very favorite dies because it has the body separate from the wings.  Diana does have some other gorgeous butterfly dies and stamps too!  Check HERE

There isn't much showing, but the Vintage Box Lacing Coffee Border die that Tilda is sitting on is wonderful!  I love how it is filled with little holes and it cuts beautifully!  Will have to use again, but have more of it showing.

I used the Spruce Twig dies for the ferny type things and absolutely love the Poinsettias for the leaves!  They are such a great shape not only for the flowers, but to cut apart and make leaves too!

I'm usually making my own flowers, but received these beautiful scrunchy type flowers made by Magnolia.  Love Scrunchy!!!!  And was it nice and quick to use them!

Hope you will stop by the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge blog and check out how you can join in on the fun!  You will find all the details there and get to see the talents of the Design Teams awesome inspiration!  They are so very creative!!!!

Don't forget Diana is running those terrific daily specials!  What a bargain!!!  Click HERE to see what today's is!!

Enjoy every day!!!  Thanks for stopping by!!!

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Our latest challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge is a Weather project.  A very sweet friend had sent me the umbrella stamp with die and I thought it would be fun to use with our beloved Tilda!  I do think for us it was more like April snows bring May flowers this year though!!!

Wonderful Products at Magnolia-licious:
TILDA CELEBRATES SUMMER
25 DH GRASS DIE
55 DH ROUND TALK/THOUGHT BUBBLES for clouds
68 DH CLOVER WITH FLOWERS
34 DH WILD STRAWBERRY AND FLOWERS
MINI PRINCE AND PRINCESSES PAPER

The mini version for Tilda Celebrates Summer is HERE.  Tilda is colored with Promarkers and the Umbrella stamp and die are Whimsey.

Have you tried the Viva Decor paper pens?  That sweet friend also sent me some of those, so I used an old CD case and dropped a whole bunch of dots in it.  That way, I always have dots that are dry to just glue where I want them and can also make them in a variety of sizes.  I've used them for the flower centers and the points on the umbrella.  Thank you sweet friend!!!!

Please join us in the Challenge for a chance at a great prize from Diana at Magnolia-licious! Click HERE for how to enter.

Enjoy every day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Wee Summer Fairy

Time for our Wee Wednesday and I've used the Wee Summer Fairy.  Got a little "dotty" with my white gel pen, but had fun tying it all together!

The products I got from the awesome Magnolia-licious Store of Diana Crick's are:
Wee #127 Summer Fairy
7 OLD SWEDISH LACE DOOHICKEY DIE
27 MAGNOLIA TREE DOOHICKEY DIE - Butterflies

The stamp is available, but oops, the dies are out of stock right now.  There certainly are many more wonderful dies right HERE that can be used in their place though.
I've colored with alcohol inks, used an old Cuttlebug corner die and a Stampin' Up! label punch and stamp.  Added pearls and white gel pen for accents.

Have you checked out the Deal of the Day at Magnolia-licious?  Giveaway prices for some great items!   DEAL OF THE DAY

Hope you will head on over to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog  to see what is all happening.  Lots of inspiration from the Design Team gals and find the details how you can join the challenges for a chance to win very nice prizes from Diana.

Sweet Little Princess Tilda with Vellum Flowers

Love the look of Vellum and how the score lines accent the petals in the flowers.  This is for the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge.  Too many times we forget about using Vellum and there are so many ways to use it.  Probably not a surprise, but one of my favorite ways is for flowers.  They are so soft and delicate looking.

I've used the following items that I got from that Sweet Lady Diana from Magnolia-licious:
Mini 274 Tilda in Cotton Dress
DH 31 Mini Doily Die
DH 71 Poisettia Die  for the leaves
MB 207 Fabulous Phlox  the flowers

Be sure to check out all the fabulous specials Diana has offered!  She just got in a ton of Memory Box Dies along with this newest collection of Once Upon a Time.  Available in the regular size Magnolia's and the Minis!  Also something new is the Daily Special....fantastic savings!!!!

Magnolia-licious also has a delicious color selection of matching cards and envelopes!  What a quick and easy way to get a card started!  Also new are the Spectrum Noir Marker system.  All the supplies you need to get started or add to your alcohol ink supplies.  What a cost savings over the "other" brand!!!  And they group the colors in sets to make it easy to know what goes together.  Check them out HERE.  Yes, I think less than $2 each versus $7 or $8 a pen is a bargain!!!
Please join us in the Vellum Challenge!  You can find the details at Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog.  Also you find more examples of the wonderful cards the other Design Team members have created for this challenge.   As always a generous prize is being offered by Diana at Magnolia-licious.

Spring has FINALLY arrived for a moment here in Minnesota!  I am going to go out and enjoy the day before it changes on us again!!!

Enjoy every day!!!  Thanks for stopping by and so appreciate the comments you take time to leave!!!
